Antonia Kiriazis MA is the director of WSPC Wines School in Athens. She is a prominent figure in the Greek wine industry, known for her managerial knowledge and passion for wine education. With her vision and dedication, she has played a crucial role in establishing and growing the school into a leading institution for wine and spirits education not just in Greece but worldwide. Her background and experience have been fundamental in shaping the comprehensive curriculum offered at WSPC Wines School. Under her leadership, the school provides high-quality education that blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, catering to both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. Kiriazis’ contributions to the wine community extend beyond Greece. Her efforts have been instrumental in elevating the profile of Greek wines globally and integrating them into the school's educational programs. She has established the Greek Wine Academy (GWA). Antonia Kiriazis was born and raised in Piraeus.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Deree College (American College of Greece)
and in 1996 she completed her master’s degree in England, in Human Resource Management.
She worked for the Arcadia Group of Companies in London for two years.
From 1998 – 2003 she held the executive position of Group Product Manager in the Greek pharmaceutical market.
Since 2004 she has held the position of General Manager at WSPC, while also coordinating the marketing and development departments.
In January of 2009 WSPC was awarded the highest distinction of “The Wine Educator of the Year Award” as the best educational provider in the world and has since steadily maintained a ranking amongst the 10 to 12 best approved program providers internationally, among 74 countries.
She is married and she has a son.
