Antonia Kiriazis MA is the director of WSPC Wines School in Athens. She is a prominent figure in the Greek wine industry, known for her managerial knowledge and passion for wine education. With her vision and dedication, she has played a crucial role in establishing and growing the school into a leading institution for wine and spirits education not just in Greece but worldwide. Her background and experience have been fundamental in shaping the comprehensive curriculum offered at WSPC Wines School. Under her leadership, the school provides high-quality education that blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, catering to both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. Kiriazis’ contributions to the wine community extend beyond Greece. Her efforts have been instrumental in elevating the profile of Greek wines globally and integrating them into the school's educational programs. She has established the Greek Wine Academy (GWA). Through her dedication and leadership, Antonia Kiriazis MA has ensured that WSPC Wines School remains at the forefront of wine education. Antonia Kiriazis was born and raised in Piraeus.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Deree College (American College of Greece)

and in 1996 she completed her master’s degree in England, in Human Resource Management.

She worked for the Arcadia Group of Companies in London for two years.

From 1998 – 2003 she held the executive position of Group Product Manager in the Greek pharmaceutical market.

Since 2004 she has held the position of General Manager at WSPC, while also coordinating the marketing and development departments.

In January of 2009 WSPC was awarded the highest distinction of “The Wine Educator of the Year Award” as the best educational provider in the world and has since steadily maintained a ranking amongst the 10 to 12 best approved program providers internationally, among 74 countries.

She is married and she has a son.

2006
The first WSPC Diploma exams take place in Greece. Within the first two years of its operation, WSPC is deemed by WSET England, as an education & exam centre of the pinnacle of educational programmes, WSET Diploma.
2008
For the first time ever worldwide, a graduation ceremony is established in Athens for WSET educational programmes.
2009
The Riedel Trophy: WSPC® is awarded in London as the best approved programme provider among 42 countries which then represented WSET.
2010
Designs and implements HESTIA Advanced Certificate, a well-structured educational programme exclusively for Greek wines.
2011
Collaboration with the University of Nicosia in Cyprus.
2012
Collaboration with the representative of WSET® in China (Asian Wine Service & Education Centre – AWSEC) for the implementation of a Masterclasses for Greek wine.
2013
Exclusive representation of the Court of Master Sommeliers in Greece. WSPC was one of three countries in Europe to represent CMS.
2018
WSPC relocates to new 1.250m2 headquarters. They are the most modern facilities among all the WSET providers, exclusively dedicated to interprofessional studies of Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
2020
The first and only European educational centre that has managed to continue its programmes Online without hinderances, in Greece and Cyprus, with the shipment of tasting samples to our students, in special and reliable packaging.
2021
Exclusive collaboration in Greece with the British organization Beverage Standards Association (BSA) for Coffee, Cocoa, and Tea.
2021
Exclusive representation of the American educational organization Wine Scholar Guild (WSG) that specializes in the analysis of the largest wine producing countries on the planet: Spain, Italy and France.
2022
Full revision of the HESTIA Advanced Certificate educational programme dedicated to Greek wine.
2022
WSPC consistently maintains a place among the 10 to 12 best branches internationally, distinguished among 74 countries.
