Professional Water Training from WSPC in collaboration with Nestlé Hellas

Because “not all waters are the same”, WSPC, in a – strategic – collaboration with Nestlé Hellas, undertook to include in its programs the new innovative Greek Professional Water Training Program, with speakers Konstantinos Lazarakis Master of Wine (MW), and Andreas Matthides DipWSET – president of the Greek Sommeliers Association.

Through this strategic collaboration, WSPC and Nestlé Hellas – the producer of the Greek Natural Mineral Water Korpi® and distributor of the premium Italian Natural Mineral Waters Acqua Panna® and S.Pellegrino® – give the opportunity to HO.RE.CA. professionals, as well as to wholesale and retail professionals, to receive the necessary training regarding Natural Mineral Water. By understanding the process of water tasting, the different pairings, the differences between waters, the myth that “all waters are the same” is dispelled and the final product/service provided to the customer is upgraded.

With the Professional Water Training, WSPC aims to further strengthen its educational framework, creating even greater pluralism in the programs it offers. Water comes to be added to all the educational modules of the Organization – Wines and Oenology – taking its own prominent place in the comprehensive education provided to prospective students.

Starting from Thessaloniki

The first steps on this new path were taken through the 1st professional workshop held in Thessaloniki on February 23. Participants discovered the process of water tasting and possible pairings, learned the basic differences of waters, were informed about sales techniques to the end consumer, fully delving into the Natural Mineral Water category.

The speaker was the President & Head of WSPC Education, Konstantinos Lazarakis Master of Wine (MW).

Next stop: Athens

The Professional Water Education continues on Thursday, March 23 in Athens and the WSPC facilities. Interested parties can register by clicking here, however, they must make their reservation in time as places are limited.
