Press Release: 7 New WSET Diploma Graduates from WSPC

WSPC is delighted and proud to announce 7 new WSET Diploma graduates, bringing the total number of graduates to 63.

The new holders of the degree are: Manuela Labhard, Asimina-Eleftheria Koulocheri, Margarita Martini, Maria Masoura, Evmorfilis Mavridou, Philippos Sklavos and Stefanos Triantafyllides, who successfully passed the exams held in March 2023 at WSPC.

The graduates’ statements are noteworthy:

Manuela Labhard emphasized: “They say you should learn as if you were going to live forever. That is how my journey to WSPC and the WSET Diploma began. For the first time, I was in the same class with winemakers, sommeliers and wine sellers. Visiting the magical island of Santorini and its famous wineries is a great experience that should not be missed.”

Philippos Sklavos noted: “My studies at WSPC are perhaps one of the most beneficial experiences I have had as a student. WSPC is undoubtedly the right choice to gain in-depth knowledge about wine and spirits.”

Maria Masoura stated: “To study wine, you need to feel inspired. All my lecturers at WSPC were inspiring and reminded me that, above all, wine is an exciting journey.”

In addition to the new graduates, our school has another reason to celebrate! On Wednesday, April 19, seven of the graduates of the 2021-2022 WSET Graduation Ceremony will be welcomed to London, and afterwards, we, the WSPC, will provide, with all due solemnity, the established Graduate Dinner at the famous 67 Pall Mall.

The WSPC is committed to continuing its work and its contribution to proper education and to always provide multiple benefits and resources for the successful careers of its graduates, who already hold important positions in the Greek wine & spirits industry and Greek Tourism.

Upon obtaining the WSET Diploma, graduates automatically become members of the Institute of Wines and Spirits (IWS). IWS is a global network of partnerships and connections, under the supervision of WSET London and allows its members direct access and influence in global commercial events.

In addition, Diploma holders have the exclusive privilege of entering and using the network as well as the addition of the initials DipWSET after their name.

The WSET Diploma is the highest level of interprofessional studies that WSET can award and its graduates acquire a powerful tool that paves the way for their professional career. This certification is a pre-requisite for applying for the world’s leading title in the wine industry, the “Master of Wine”.
