Press Release: Wine Tourism Training Program by Dr. Natalia Velikova at WSPC.

The two-day Wine Tourism Training Program with Dr. Natalia Velikova, Professor at Texas Tech University and the support of the Fulbright Foundation (Intercountry Lecturing Program) was completed with absolute success.

Specifically, WSPC hosted the 30 participants of the program, at the school, on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1. Among them, wine producers, marketing executives and industry professionals who expanded their field of knowledge, in order to prepare as best as possible for the next step of Wine Tourism in Greece.

With the prestige and experience of Dr. Natalia Velikova

Dr. Velikova is a Fulbright Scholar in Bulgaria for 2022-23 and her visit to Greece and WSPC was carried out through the Intercountry Lecturing Program with the support of the Fulbright Foundation (Fulbright Greece). The subject of her teaching is Wine Tourism as well as a multitude of modules around it, such as Advanced Wine Marketing and Tourism, The Fundamentals of Wine Business, Beverage Control Management, International Retailing, etc.

Interactive program

By giving a more interactive character to the two-day educational program, Dr. Velikova maintained the interest of the participants undiminished, with short group assignments and analysis of each day’s modules. At the same time, WSPC ensured the smooth conduct of the 14-hour program with the necessary coffee & lunch breaks, so that everyone could devote themselves to understanding and consolidating the program without any problems.

The President of WSPC & Head of WSPC Education, Konstantinos Lazarakis MW, actively participated in the seminar, contributing with his valuable knowledge, while also awarding Certificates of Attendance to the participants! After the established photos, the appointment was renewed for 2023.
